Terjit - Mauritania
Better known for its oasis, there appeared to be more to this small village than meets the eye. Shortly after we made this photograph a man came running from the village accusing us of photographing a military complex and wanted to confiscate the camera. Surprisingly enough, we did not comply, but did bid a hasty retreat.
