Ubari Erg Ubari is one of the great sand seas of Libya. The expedition-prepared vehicles pictured here carried water, food and fuel to complete the three day crossing. Not another living person was seen for the duration of the crossing where temperatures reached over 40C (104F) - this is warm for winter in Libya. |
